Focaccia Flatbread

This isn’t really a focaccia. It’s sort of like a giant cracker. And I mean that in the best way possible.

It’s not a pizza either, so I guess it’s like a flatbread? A focaccia flatbread? I think so, because all it’s got on top is olive oil, coarse salt, and rosemary.

Ridiculously Simple: Artichoke Pizza

Remember that dough from yesterday? I know it was a long time ago, but think hard. That’s the dough my grandma makes, which is very basic and made up of only 5 ingredients. For these reasons she has affectionately nicknamed it “Batzek Klum“, which translates from Hebrew into “Nothing Dough”. You could also call it “Heidi Klum Dough”. Up to you.

Corn and Cheese Crossover Pastries

..so I’ve been favoring savory pastries lately. Sue me.

I keep seeing these really pretty “crossover pastries” everywhere, and they just seem so darn beautiful. I’d been thinking about trying it for a while, but didn’t get around to it. Today, however, I made my own dough and got to work.

Now, from what I’ve seen, crossovers are usually made with puff pastry dough. I found another one of my grandma’s recipes, this time for the dough. It is so easy to make it’s almost criminal, and you don’t even need a mixer. You just stir with your fingers and bam! dough. Also, there’s no egg in this recipe, except for the egg wash on top.
